- How do you book a charter with Five Star Tours?
You can fill out our online form going to the link on the bottom of each chater sub-page or selecting the book a bus sub-page. You can also give us a call at our office at 619 232 5040.
- What forms of payment does Five Star Tours accept ?
Five Star Tours at times might ask for a deposit on your tour confirmation or else full payment depending on the tour factors such as times, days or destinations. We ask for a deposit which is just to guarantee your space on your tour. Most deposits are refundable. We deal mostly with Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards but other cards or forms of payment can be discussed.
- What is your cancellation policy?
Up to one week, we are not charging any cancellation fees. If you decide to cancel before seven days, we charge $ 125.00. If you cancel within 72 hours of charter, there is a fee of $ 250.00. Within 24 hours, there are no refunds
- Does the bus have a restroom?
Our 50 passenger motor coach has a restroom and is the vehicle used on most our tours. For smaller groups we may use either the 30 passenger mini-bus, the 18 passenger mini-bus with wheelchair lift or our 12 passenger van, these do not have restrooms
- Do we operate rain or shine? Do we have assigned seating?
Five Star Tours will operate a tour rain or shine and do not have assigned seating. We strongly encourage families to participate in our tours and welcome service animals.
- What is the normal drivers' gratuities/ tip?
The gratuities/ tip is usually about 10% of the total cost of your charter rate. We do not add the gratuty to any of our rates unless our clients request to add this fee to their overall charter contract.
- What is included in your charter rate/ price?
The charter rate/ price includes the transportation, exclusive use of the motor coach for your service, fuel and other amenities within our motor coach.
- When is payment due?
Payment is due 7 days before your trip date on a major credit card, cashiers check, company check or cash. We do not accept personal checks.
- Are tolls, parking and other fees included in your rate?
Our rates do not include any tolls, parking or fees not associated in your contract. Any extra fees declare before will be outline in your contract. Please make sure to communicate with your sales representive if you have a questions about an additional fee.
